survival

July 28, 1946

Welcome back to my diary. I have missed writing, this is probably the longest time I have gone without writing. Anyways I am really happy to say this. My family and I succeed on escaping safetly our of the camps.  After all we had been through at the camps and all the moving around we finally got to a Ukrainine village. When we got to the village we went crazy looking for my father and brother, we were desperate on finding them. Thank god we found them when we got to the shelter. Once we reunited with my brother and father we were a happy family once again. It was really hard for us to be separated because we had all been together our whole life. Where we were sheltered by Jewish families for more than three years. We had all survived the war. There was a couple other jewish family that had also survived the war.

These past 10 years i have done a lot of reflecting. Now that I am older i see things clearer and understand more things I didn't when I was younger. I now understand that we were in war. I have become a better, stronger women thanks to what i had to go trough.
I have lost many loved ones from back home in Kriesciatik and from all the camps we were moving to.
